Canada Language Lab

Privacy policy

Canada Language Lab administration is responsible for this platform. Use the address on our Contact page for data questions or account deletion requests.

Data and purposes: name, email and account details support sign-in, verification and password recovery. Saved results, profiles and writing support learning progress. Passwords are securely hashed. Audio recordings stay on your device.

Cookies: a necessary session cookie supports sign-in. Local storage keeps language, preferences and some learning content on your device. Browser settings let you remove these, which may affect sign-in and local content.

Advertising: when Google AdSense is enabled, Google and its partners may use cookies, identifiers and IP addresses to deliver and measure ads and prevent fraud. Third parties may place or read cookies. Personalized ads depend on consent where required. See https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and control Google ads at https://myadcenter.google.com.

Providers: account data is processed by the configured hosting provider, and verification and recovery emails use the configured mail service. Providers may process data in other countries according to their settings and policies. We do not sell account data. Job email alerts are not active in this cPanel version.

Retention: account learning data remains while the account exists or until a deletion request is processed. Backup and hosting log retention depends on provider and administration settings; contact us for the applicable period.

Your rights: request access, correction or account deletion through Contact. We may verify account ownership first. Advertising choices can be changed through the consent message when enabled.

Security and updates: we protect sessions and administrator access, without an absolute security guarantee. Policy updates and their dates appear here.
